Maxwel Payne Stark was born in Northern California. Eventually moved to Reno, NV, and now resides in Venice Beach, CA. 

Maxwel Payne Stark was formally known as Max Stark. Maxwel is an R&B singer and songwriter as well as an energetic and electric performer, athlete, a vibrant visionary and a new world dreamer.

As an energetic young man, Maxwel played basketball during his school years. Playing basketball helped Maxwel learn competitiveness which has always brought out the best in him.

During his early years, Maxwel was surrounded by musicians and this helped to boost his understanding of music. During his up bringing, Maxwel performed any chance he could and worked with various artists and successful musicians along the way. These vast experiences refined his passion and direction in music.

When onstage, Maxwel knows exactly how to get his listeners moved and standing on their feet. Maxwel knows how to make his audience move and feel, Sonically blending his inspirations from Classic R&B artists fused with New Wave, Psychedelic R&B, Ocean Vibes, and Neo-Soul
